In the good old winter time

So remember snow and winter and subzero temperatures? Some may long for those temperatures today. The girls outside do not seem to mind the extreme Pennsylvania hot summer, they have an opportunity to come into a huge room with a fan but Boer Goats do not mind the sun if they have plenty of fresh water. We have provided new salt and mineral blocks this week and they have taken full advantage of them. In turn they are keeping me busy filling up the water recepticles. These goats are quite pampered in the intense heat, but not only the show animals need this attention, all animals should be given ample water and shelter until the temperatures come down to “normal”.
