Waiting for Kids!

We have been winterizing the barn, collecting and inspecting all the kidding equipment. Making sure the iodine and other various supplies that need to be kept at room temperature are packed in the barn. Dreay day on the farm

This week has been more like summer for the Boer Goats at KandK but today its back to rain and clouds. I am looking forward to May 6 to run the Pittsburgh Marathon so I am going to pretend it is sunny, sometimes it works. The girls all seem to be growing and “bagging up”.

Activity for 9/27/2011

This past weekend was quite productive for getting all stalls inside cleaned and ready for bringing the girls inside. As we bring them in we will be re-doing feet and worming all. This past week has been warm and humid and they still have a good bit of pasture to eat down.
